So what exactly does "Global Warming" mean? To the world today, Global Warming is perceived as a dangerous threat to the balance of nature and questions our future quality of life. Environmentalists claim that it is the negative result of human impact on our planet. But at Durant Ministries, Global Warming means something entirely different.

Global Warming is the result of people working together to carry out the Great Commission. It means that by becoming a partner with Durant Ministries you are helping us to accomplish the vision that God gave us. And as that fire grows inside the one, it will touch another individual and another fire will begin. Global Warming. A world where darkness cannot have a hold and where the Light shines through. A world where hearts have been filled with the warmth of our Father's love. As more people experience His love and grow in the knowledge of Him, the warmer the globe gets for Him.

"How does this involve me?" Or you might say, "I can't travel the globe and get people born again." Yes, you can! You can send a substitute. In 1 Samuel chapter 30 we read about King David and his men going out into battle. Before pursuing their enemies, David split the army in two; half went out to fight and half remained there to watch over the supplies. When they returned from their triumphant victory and it came time to give recognition and rewards for fighting, King David revealed a dynamic spiritual truth by saying in verse 24, "For who will heed you in this matter? But as his part is who goes down to the battle, so shall his part be who stays by the supplies; they shall share alike."
